Every day, people at every level of an organization make decisions, solve problems, influence others, and shape how work gets done. We all have good intentions—but good intentions alone don’t create great results. The systems around us—our processes, expectations, communication, habits, resources, and everyday choices—have a powerful influence on performance. In Designed to Lead, participants will explore how deliberate leadership and systems thinking can help anyone, from the front line to the executive level, turn intentions into action and action into results. Through relatable examples and practical tools, this session challenges participants to look beyond recurring frustrations and individual blame, understand what may really be driving performance, and recognize the opportunities each of us has to influence the systems in which we work.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

See the system behind the work — Recognize how processes, expectations, communication, resources, behaviors, and everyday decisions influence performance, regardless of your role or position.
