Dr. Zuzana BobstLead Examiner — Genie
Zuzana demonstrated exceptional performance across several critical areas during the 2025 Sterling Assessment cycle, providing impactful leadership and driving meaningful improvements. Her contributions included guiding a successful pilot return to in-person site visits, supporting the Sterling Manufacturing Business Excellence (SMBE) site visit process, and collaborating on committee initiatives to enhance the delivery and structure of the evaluation criteria.
During the transition back to in-person site visits, Zuzana’s deep knowledge of the Criteria and her professionalism served as a steady and trusted guide for both the Examiner Team and the applicant organization. She consistently brought clarity to complex discussions, offering thoughtful alternative perspectives and actionable recommendations that helped resolve questions and strengthen the integrity of the evaluation process. Notably, she played a key role in identifying meaningful thematic insights that closely aligned with the applicant’s mission and vision.
Committed to continuous improvement, Zuzana has been instrumental in advancing the Council’s evaluation approach through committee work — helping streamline and refine the Criteria toward a more focused, efficient methodology without compromising rigor. She is consistently sought out for her thoughtful judgment, expertise, and ability to elevate outcomes wherever she contributes.
