(FSC)— Memorial Day is a very special day for all of us who enjoy the freedom and opportunities offered in the United States of America.
In my 28 years of service as a Naval Officer serving during the Vietnam War to the Persian Gulf, I vividly recall the lives of squadron mates, shipmates, and friends that were lost while on active duty.
Even today, many veterans are still suffering from the ills caused by their service and many more are losing their lives during this pandemic in VA and nursing homes across our country.
As we head into Memorial Day weekend, please take a moment to join me in remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in support of our great country.
