The Sterling Council is proud to launch the annual nomination process for the Sterling Manufacturing Business Excellence Awards (SMBEA). This is a yearly business endeavor where we solicit statewide applications for the renowned Sterling Award process that has existed since 1992.
All Florida manufacturers are eligible for nomination. The benefits include:
- A team-based evaluation and expert feedback discussion regarding your company’s strengths and opportunities for improvement.
- Company elevation and promotion in the Florida business community.
- Development of leaders and employees based on the nationally recognized Sterling-based Criteria for Performance Excellence.
- Identification of significant areas for business improvements.

The Sterling Council, established in 1992, is the premier statewide program to assess and recognize organizational performance excellence. Since 2018, we have expanded our services to include both the states of Florida and Georgia.
